No, not at all.
There is no intention for TEDxNorwichED to be an event where we moan about the education system.
The intention is to create an event where education can be discussed in a open manner- without party politics or many of the other things that can often impact discussions about education.
There is no criticism of the education system in Norfolk/Suffolk, beyond that that has already been reported by the national press based on league tables etc. But there is an intention to create an environment where we can think about how we can stop East Anglia containing some of the lowest preforming regions in the country. We want to share best practice from the region, as well as attracting some of the ‘bigger names’ and un-earthing some new local enthusiasm and talent.
